Stephen, I gave my heart and soul to the Michigan Gallery Carl was not the only brainchild of that Gallery.
That's all I have to say.

I can attest to that. You were much in evidence at the Michigan Gallery, and your contribution made a huge impact on the gallery.
I've added you to the introduction of the Michigan Gallery Tribe:

I was a student of Zubel Kahadoorian in the 1970's at Wayne State University. After reading all the glowing reports on this person I feel compelled to add my little bit. I found Zubel to be a self important little man who was indeed "a legend in his own mind". He spent most of his time belittling those with any talent and playing his favorites who were by and large female. He was insulting and rude and required no provocation to get him started. I think he was a man with mediocre talent who hyped himself as the naked emperor hyped his new clothes. The more he puffed himself up the more people he had to worship at his shrine. I am sorry that he died but he was in no sense of the word a good or decent man!

Recently I have come across a sketch of
Zubel. It is a sketch of fishing boats
and on the bottom corner it says Zubel
48 It is very old. Anyone interested
in this sketch please contact

This is for Mrs. Zubel, I was wondering if
Zubel had ever did a portrait of you. I have
a sketch of his and when I received it there
was also a drawing of a womans head turned
to the side. In Zubels tribute the picture
at the end of Deena and Zubel the picture
that I have looks just like Mrs. Zubel. I
hope to hear from you.
Thank You Sue
