Ron Winokur was perhaps one of the most brilliant people I have ever known. I learned more about 20th century art and design from him than from any other source. He was generous with his knowledge and passionate in his opinions. I will miss his relentless energy and drive, as well as his wicked sense of humor.

The Ron Winokur that I knew (for well over 20 years) was probably the most honorable person I have ever met. We met in the early 80's when I offered Ron a collection of 19th century French paintings for what turned out to be a fraction of what they were worth (I was new to the art market back then). Instead of buying the paintings from me, Ron told me I was making a mistake, showed me what they were really worth and sent me to Christies in New York where I received twenty times what I had been asking. At Ron's funeral I found out that I wasn't the only one he had done this for. From that time on he became one of my dearest friend. Despite what "DIA Colleague" said, Ron was a good man who believed in both God, country and his fellow man. He was generous to a fault, donating time and money to many a worthy cause. I'm proud to have known him and I will miss Ron Winokur until the day I die.

Yeah, but a HUGE front page + cont splash in local paper in 92, the FBI and hi prlfoie state attorneys to be filing embezzlement charges against local ambulance workers for being paid. The FBI and attorneys knew very well that most 503(c) orgs (like hospitals) pay workers. Smell a rat? The paper didn't report that gas had been drained or battery cables cut on the amb. I got no answer from the AG, insisting a murder was planned. 5 days later, two children bled to death, no ambulance. News.

What did your attorney tell you? This is sinmthoeg that you should be discussing with your attorney. When you say they can't find him what do you mean? Does this mean they have identified him and know who he is . . . or does this mean that they do NOT know who he is? As long as they know who is he, they can request permission to serve by publication. This means they can ask the judge for permission to take out an ad in a newspaper to give him notice of the lawsuit. If he fails to appear after he has been served in this fashion, they can obtain a default judgment against him. But, if you can't find him how do you even know if he has money or assets to pay a judgment?

: Roin Paul twisted pereiptcons from the name of God, as written in the US constitution, into another name patriotism which along with 9/11 was an inside job helps to justify wars, Ron Paul even speaks about just wars ! Add a little more and he talks about Holy wars !
