Hi folks,
I think I am a bona fide member of the Miami Tribe, having been the bartender there with John Thompson for the first few years . Lots and lots of good times, both behind and in front of the bar. This was the time that the bar was packed to the gills and Shadowfax was the mainstay of the music. I was also waitressing with Laura McGuire at that railroad-themed restaurant over on 6th street. At that time I was living in the Mounted Police stables with Victor, Dennis Parks, Patrick Ratliff and David ?. Remember the parties there? Actually, I began my time in the corridor when I lived on Canfield in 1970 in a house with Bernadette (now Gropusso) David Clement, Paul Gribling ( who died of cancer at age 26 or 27 and should be added to the obituaries), Linda Forrest (wife of Jack Forrest( of the"three felons" John Sinclair, jack, and Pun Plamundon) and Eddie Kieffer. Nick Medvecki was a frequent visitor and I often wonder what happened to him. I think he did some federal time for dealing.
Lots of good memories. This is a wonderful site.

Kate Miller (I used "Kathy" during those years, so you may know me as Kathy Hardy.

Kate,

Nick Medvecki is still "inside" but getting closer to freedom everyday. He sent a letter to the Miami about a year ago detailing his day to day and expectations.

Am looking for bill Johnson . He also lived on second and Canfield at a house in the early seventies called "the Church"He now would be about 67. His sister, Kathy , dated Paul Gribling. We would all go down to "the snug" and cobb's corner after classes at WSU. If you know of bill Johnson's whereabouts please let me know.
